We install synthetic turf residentially and commercially

Doug Norby and Barbara NorbyDoug Norby and his crew have been installing synthetic lawns and putting greens throughout the state of Oregon for nearly a decade, including a green at Fiddlers Green in Eugene. Fiddler's is well known throughout the Northwest as "the largest on course golf pro shop in America." Golf enthusiasts travel from Seattle to Redding and every place in between to shop there.

Home Country Club can also install synthetic turf at hotels and resorts, office buildings, driving ranges, apartment complexes, and retirement centers.

Putting Greens FAQ

Why wouldn't I just install a natural grass green?

Maintenance and cost. The amount of time, effort and money you would put into a natural grass green can mount up very quickly. Check with the superintendent at your local golf course, and he'll agree.

With a Home Country Club putting green you will have:

  • No Watering
  • No Mowing
  • No Chemical Applications
  • No Aerating
  • No Hard work

How do you customize your greens?

The customers' choices are unlimited when it comes to size and shape of a HCC green. We can design contours, breaks, and undulations as you wish. We create those when we install the gravel sub base. You may also choose the speed of your green, which depends on the amount of rolling and brooming at the end of the process.

How is performance of a Home Country Club green compared to a natural grass green?

A Home Country Club green rolls, bounces and holds shots just like a real grass green. Our rounded quartz infill provides porosity, which is important in maintaining superior and consistent playability.

What is the life span of a Home Country Club green?

The UV polypropylene fibers are designed to resist the harmful effects of sun, rain, snow, and ice. The greens can last 15 years or more depending on usage.

What about drainage?

We prepare your site to create positive drainage. Water drains over the top of the green.

How long does it take for you to install one?

Most greens can be completely installed in two to three days.

Once I have a Home Country Club green installed, what maintenance is required?

Very little. Simply blowing off any debris, occasionally rolling, and an annual evaluation of top dressing will maintain a superior putting surface.
